A large yellow diamond, worth 10.88 million yuan, or over 1 million US dollars, is put on sale at the Paris Spring Plaza shopping mall in Qingdao, a port city in east China’s Shangdong Province since July 16.
The diamond was crafted from 138-carat material extracted in the Congo, and was cut into sixty-one facets by an American diamond master cutter after three-month of laborious work.
